The 9GB multiplayer patch for Halo 5: Guardians dropped yesterday, so I was able to get plenty of hands-on time with the game’s Arena multiplayer mode, as well as the new REQ system and Spartan customizations. If you want to see the REQ system and Spartan customizations, plus all of the button layouts available, you can check out a video preview of them in action.
If you want to see some multiplayer action then you can check out three gameplay videos below. There’s a SWAT match on The Rig, and Slayer matches on Fathom and Regret to check out.
Regret’s new look may surprise you, so I’d recommend starting there first. I will add that I’m no pro, so don’t expect to see nothing but highlight reel material. It’s more of a lowlight reel, but at least shows off some new Halo 5 maps. Mind you, many of the players online right now are pros, so that also played into my less than stellar K/D ratios for each match. Alright, enough excuses, head on down below to check out the three Halo 5: Guardians’ Arena multiplayer mode videos.
Halo 5: Guardians is set to hit the Xbox One on October 27, 2015.
