Halo 5: Guardians Gets a Release Date and Two Opposing TV Ads

During The Walking Dead finale last night Microsoft aired two TV spots for Halo 5: Guardians, which offer two different perspectives on the same scene. One features the Master Chief, the most kick-ass Spartan of all-time, while the other features his pursuer Agent Locke, who has a bug up his butt over something the Chief does (or doesn’t do).

Depending on which side you want to believe either the Chief or Locke does something that brings devastation upon humanity causing them to hunt each other and snuff out whoever gets caught first. There’s definitely more of the mystery to be exposed over the coming months, so I expect to see much more and get a peek behind the curtain at this year’s E3.

Halo 5: Guardians is an Xbox One exclusive that is set to release on October 27, 2015. Check out both of the TV ads after the break.
