Announcements are unavoidable with the impending release of Halo 5: Guardians. In addition to previous recent updates, Microsoft just released a trailer promoting a new feature for the game: Spartan Companies.

Friends and community are the focus here as 343 Industries provides a platform for players to find others with similar interests and goals. Spartan Companies are fully customizable, whether it’s the icon representing the group or the very modes of gameplay the group prefers to play.

Each Spartan Company can house up to 100 members, but players can only be a part of one company at any single time. Each group is presented with private forums with which players can utilize to plan playing schedules, discuss strategies, or even view and assess the various statistics of each player.

Once a company gains four active members, said players will receive a free REQ pack to aid them in their preparation for launch come October 27. Web pages for Halo 5: Guardians‘ statistics and REQ collections launch the day prior (October 26), allowing players to view what they’ve collected to get their character ready for the ensuing multiplayer chaos.

If you want to give your Spartan Company a head start before release, you can begin your journey here.
