‘Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare’ Expansion Quietly Announces Fall Release

Halo Wars 2 released for Xbox One earlier this year without much of a splash. Being one of the few Xbox exclusives currently available, you’d think Microsoft would bang the Halo Wars-gong far harder, but at least they’re expanding the game’s universe.

Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare was announced under the radar during E3 2017; check out the trailer for it above. The expansion boasts the inclusion of a new campaign, various new multiplayer maps and leaders, and a brand new cooperative mode. Not bad.

Oh, and the Flood. The Flood’s back. Who could possibly hate the Flood?
