THQ Nordic is now patterning with 343 Studios to bring a physical release for Halo Wars 2 on your Windows 10 PC. For all you PC players that love to have a physical box, this is for you! There will be both a standard release and an ultimate edition. Pre-ordering the ultimate edition will get you four day early-access to the core game starting on February 17th. The ultimate edition also comes with the beautiful case seen above, the Halo Wars Definitive Edition that is also part of the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative and the exclusive season pass. The pass will include a steady stream of DLC that will span over six months and beyond. New leaders, units, blitz cards and campaign missions will be part of the season pass.

The standard edition will include a highly stylized box art as well as the game. Purchase of either of these will also give you access to Halo Wars 2 via Xbox Play Anywhere! The standard edition will run you $59.99 while the ultimate edition will only run you $79.99. That is a good deal for the ultimate edition, especially with the season pass. Go get your orders in for this one for the early access and we’ll see you on the battlefield!
