Han Solo Director Trolls Rian Johnson on Twitter Over Star Wars Episode VIII’s Potential Title
It seems that the various Star Wars Directors have become quite chummy since being brought on to flesh out Disney’s new vision for the franchise based on a cheeky Twitter exchange between Chris Miller and Rian Johnson.
Chris Miller is Co-Directing the stand alone Han Solo film, while Rian Johnson is Directing Star Wars Episode VIII, and both talked about their projects this past weekend at Star Wars Celebration Europe. Miller officially confirmed Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo, but Johnson didn’t really divulge much outside of the fact that he has a cameo in Rogue One and Rogue One’s Director, Gareth Edwards, has a cameo in Episode VIII. Many fans thought that Rian would at least reveal the title for the next film in the new trilogy, but alas, he did not.
Well, it seems Miller is a fan too, so he took to Twitter today to troll Johnson with a potential title for Episode VIII, and it’s pretty hilarious. He went as far to recreate the iconic Star Wars opening crawl to pitch the title, which is “A Tour De Force”, and it’s summation of the film simply says, “So, yeah, we pretty much just pick up where we left off…..” Mic drop.

Rian played along and responded that the title was, “too french.” Gotta love it when Star Wars Directors have a bit of fun with each other!
@chrizmillr too french.
