Hand of Fate 2 was released alongside the Xbox One X and will support 4K HD on the system right at launch! It is also out for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Defiant Development has also unveiled the title’s fourth and final companion: Ariadne of Stiegal. She is a companion, a new addition to the franchise, and they offer support in battle, exclusive perks in the meta board game, dialogue options, and they have their own storylines, as well. Ariadne is a melee tank character with armor break abilities; while in the board game, she can duplicate cards in games of chance to improve the player’s odds dramatically.
Along with companions, some other new features come into play with the new game, as well. A new map-based overworld allows players to discover and unlock challenges to receive from the dealer. Also new are weapon types and associated fighting styles that can provide a much-needed boost to combat. Be ready for different victory conditions for combat and the dealer’s game, as he’s back seeking revenge after being defeated in the first title. And he’s bringing along all-new bosses, enemy types, and stories!
You can grab Hand of Fate 2 now at a retail price of $29.99 with these available languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese.
