Hands-on Preview PAX East 2015: Game 4

The Behemoth puts out wacky challenging games like Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater, and while their games are never meant to be taken seriously, they will most certainly test your skill. Little is known about Game 4, the untitled game the the folks over at The Behemoth are hard at work on, but what we do know is that a giant bear with nipples has crashed into a planet and covered it with bear blood.

In Game 4, your journey starts off with with the classic game trope of beginning with a tragedy. Fortunately, it only gets better from there. The controls are simple enough, and this turn-based game is all about strategy and knowing your enemy. As you progress through the game, you gain two other allies in your journey – whatever that journey may actually be.

If you have played Castle Crashers or BattleBlock Theater, then you already know what you are going to get from The Behemoth: a challenging game and with plenty of crude humor. Just like any strategy game, you will be able to upgrade your players to keep on fighting the good fight. You will also collect some awesome loot along the way, and so much more.

You can choose to make your journey alone or with a friend, and if you are feeling adventurous, you can play against other gamers on teams of 2 vs 2. The game does not have a release date set, but Game 4 will be released on Steam and Xbox One.

When Game 4 is released you better be ready for what chaos this oversized bear has caused.

“Making you a better geek, one post at a time!”
