Hasbro Unveils First Four Star Wars Black Series Figures for Solo: A Star Wars Story

Hasbro has unveiled four new action figures from its Star Wars Black Series line for Solo: A Star Wars Story ahead of the New York Toy Fair. These figures are 1/12 scale, and feature plenty of poseable joints, and very detailed head sculpts. They typically retail for $19.99.

The first four Black Series figures from Solo: A Star Wars Story to be shown off are Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, and a Range Trooper. I must say that all four sculpts look amazing, especially for the asking price, so Hasbro’s new digital face painting trick is paying off in spades. If I had to pick a favorite based on the glamour shots I have to go with the Range Trooper, who just looks like a bad dude. I love the furry coat, and hope that it actually features fur at the top as the picture suggest. He’s just a cool take on the Stormtrooper character, and I know he’ll look great out of the box.

The other three are also highly detailed and feature great face paint applications. Lando probably looks the most true to form, but the Han and Qi’ra figures are top-notch as well. These figures aren’t designated as exclusives, so they should be hitting retail outlets this spring. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
