Hey, Don’t Forget ‘Toukiden 2’ Came Out Yesterday

Look, I know the somehow already controversial Mass Effect: Andromeda came out yesterday. It’s been hard keeping up with all these game releases. But each AAA game that captures the spotlight simultaneously leaves something in the shadows. Toukiden 2 came out on PlayStation 4, Vita, and PC yesterday, and it looks like a wonderfully co-operative change of pace.

Rooted in Japanese history, this open world game goes through six eras of Japan as you travel with your posse slaying demons. You’ve just awoke after slumbering for ten years, you must attempt to clear the world of an overwhelming darkness. There’s been a lot added to the series since the original, including multiple new weapons and abilities–like summoning a Japanese demon to help aid you in battle.

Toukiden 2 looks incredibly promising, so you might want to take a gander.

“Making you a better geek, one post at a time!”
