Shadow of War has been through the ringer the past couple months with it’s microtransaction policy. This seems to be a bit of DLC that I can get behind. Let me give you the premise here, Mike Forgey was the Executive Producer at Monolith Studios and unfortunately lost his battle with cancer during the development of the game. To honor Mike, they decided to immortalize him in the game as Forthog, Orc-Slayer. Originally this was to be a paid DLC, but it looks like they revoked that and made it a free DLC on Day 1. This is awesome to see, it reminds me of the Stranger from the Fallout games. I hope that they donate some of the proceeds of the games revenue to Forgey’s family. Rest in peace Mr. Forgey, we all hope you’re slaying Orcs and Uruks in the Afterlife.
