How Does Wonder Woman Translate From Page to Screen?

Wonder Woman has been a staple in comic book history for many, many years. She is one of the original female superheroes that has stayed current over many years. During that time the call to have more female superheroes represented on the big screen kept growing louder until Gal Gadot made her appearance in Batman vs. Superman last year. The movie itself was not liked by many critics and fans, but the one thing that stood out was Wonder Woman.

Gadot nailed the part and when it was announced that Wonder Woman would finally get a stand alone movie women and men rejoiced. It was about damn time. Marvel missed their chance to beat DC to the punch to bring Black Widow to the bring screen. Anyways, throughout the years Wonder Woman has changed a bit, appeared on the small screen in the 70’s, and now is getting the big screen treatment.
