How to Make Functional Wolverine Claws Like a Propmaster
Tony Swatton is a master blackmisth and Hollywood propmaster who has made hundreds of steel weapons and armor pieces for use on movie sets across the globe. Swatton has partnered with the AweMe YouTube channel to feature his work on its Man At Arms webseries, which shows Tony forging iconic weapons from some of the most popular film and TV franchises.
In the latest episode Swatton shows how he made a pair of deadly Wolverine claws out of tempered steel, and then he proceeds to highlight just how deadly they are by having a nameless test subject slaughter all sorts of inanimate objects.
Mind you that his claws aren’t just weak ass aluminum prototypes to use in front of a camera either! These things are deadly weapons that could actually be used to kill living things. Let’s just say that these Wolverine props would be banned from every Con on the planet, but hunting trade shows may be a different story…
Proceed down below to watch a master craftsman sculpt a pair of bitching Wolverine claws out of pure steel!
