I May Have to Buy a Volkswagen Now! Mini-Vader Rocks!

While browsing the Twittersphere last night I read a tweet from @DamonLindelof and @Mygeektime promoting a new ad from Volkswagen.  Knowing that Damon is quite the geek himself I decided to follow his tweet to a YouTube video.  The moment I hit Play I knew I made the right decision to follow one of LOST’s co-creators.  As much as I bang on the recent Star Wars projects you must understand that it is still a very near and dear franchise to my geeky heart.  I have many positive memories about my early years with my Father because of this Sci-Fi masterpiece.

In fact, I just inserted my tampon because I’m literally getting emotional while writing this!  The little guy in this commercial reminds me of my younger self, and my quest to master the force.  I too had a Vader costume as a young geek, albeit not as awesome as this kids (man we had crappy toys back in the 80’s).  I would hope if I ever have a male spawn he’d take to the force as much as the kid in this commercial.  Honestly, I’ll probably force him to like it if for some reason he doesn’t, and you’re for damn sure I’ll have a Vader costume for him to wear more often than normal kid clothes.  Check out this little Sith Master below.  You’ve been wanting a Mini-Vader too…
