A Behance artist by the name of Eric Palmer has created some awesome 8-bit art based on a few of the more iconic movies of our recent past.  I’m thinking there’s some sort of 8-bit art revolution taking place, because I’m starting to see more and more works come out that feature the old school style made famous by the NES.  In fact, Nintendo’s heyday is all that came to mind when I first saw some of these posters.  It’s funny to think that when I was young all I wanted was better graphics in my games, and I thought the 8-bit style looked outdated and crappy.  Now, as an elder statesman of gaming I can’t help but wax nostalgic when I see works of art like this featuring the old school gaming art style.
