If Only This Were How The Phantom Menace Did End

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace has all sorts of issues, and the How It Should Have Ended YouTube channel is here to show everyone how to fix them. Its latest episode gives Star Wars fans a look at how The Phantom Menace should have ended, as well as how it should have started.

As always the HISHE crew does a bang up job of picking up on certain scenes from movies that just don’t make sense, in particular the endings. In The Phantom Menace parody they set their sites on the cremation scene at the end of the film, but added their own unique touch, one that makes complete sense if you were also a fan of The Clone Wars cartoon.

There’s also a great scene from early on in TPM that the HISHE crew spoofed, and it’s even more enjoyable than their new ending. In fact, all Star Wars fans who were born before 1985 will probably agree with how Qui-Gon Jinn deals with Jar-Jar in this parody. Make sure to listen close to the dialogue in this scene because it’s brilliant. Check it out after the break. Don’t close the video player early because there’s a bonus ending scene that followers of the Dark Side will enjoy.
