IGN: Takes a Stroll Through Nudity in Gaming

I, like any guy or gamer for that matter don’t mind a little digital nudity.  It has recently become more common place in mature rated games, and with games’ graphics approaching near realism, the nudity looks better than ever.  I know I’m a brainless fool who is controlled by the will of testosterone, but everyone is intrigued by nudity in some form or fashion.  We are animals after all, and we all have instinctive behaviors that need fulfilled.

IGN, a video-game based website, has taken a close look at the evolution of nudity in gaming.  Contrary to what many gamers may think, nudity in games actually appeared over thirty years ago on the Atari 2600.  I am not going to go into detail on IGN’s article, but I suggest you check it out for yourself here.  Just make sure and come back to EB if you want to make any comments.

All I want to know is how someone got away with creating the game, Beat ‘Em & Eat ‘Em, which is the screenshot you see for this article?!?  Now that is an edgy game even in today’s standards.  WWJD if he saw that piece of gaming history?

You’ve been perverted…
