Finding out how the Avengers are dealing with life after the snap may come sooner for MCU fans thanks to a recent IMAX corporation SEC filing. The filing includes all IMAX films releasing in 2019 with many films that already have concrete release dates such as Captain Marvel, Glass, and Star Wars: Episode IX, appearing on the list in their proper months of release. One film though isn’t in its proper month, and that is Avengers 4. According to the IMAX document, Avengers 4 is slated to release during April 2019, and not May, which is its current release month.
If you remember what happened with Infinity War, it too was supposed to release during the first week of May, but thanks to a social media stunt between RDJ and Marvel, the film was revealed to be releasing one week early during the last week of April. So while Marvel hasn’t made anything official, one would think that IMAX wouldn’t make stuff up for a SEC filing, so there’s a great chance that Avengers 4 will be coming out a bit earlier than expected.
Only time will tell, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
