Impa and Zelda Get Trailers For ‘Hyrule Warriors’

Last week a few of us used our magical powers of foresight to predict that Nintendo would release more Hyrule Warriors trailers showing off the other playable characters in the game. It was more common sense, to be honest, as the other playable characters in Hyrule Warriors are central to the game’s core gameplay mechanic, which is hack ‘n’ slash style combat.

Impa is the focus of this new gameplay trailer, and displays more big moves against small foes. An oversized sword coupled with acrobatic abilities, shown in the trailer, does look like an interesting combination.

Again, the Dynasty Warriors look brought to the game by Omega Force is being foregrounded in this new trailer. Future trailers could follow a similar trend, with other playable characters such as Midna taking center stage.

Zelda also received her own character trailer, which plays out the same as the previously released ones. You can check it out after the break.

For those that are liking the look of this hack and slash adventure, Hyrule Warriors will be released exclusively on Wii U on August 14th for Japan, September 19th for Europe, September 20th for Australia, and September 26th for North America.
