Tomb Raider has been a part of gaming culture since 1996. The series introduced the world to Lara Croft, the female version of Indiana Jones. As technology advanced, so did her look. The earlier versions of Croft were quite simple, not a whole lot of detail, mainly some expertly placed polygons. The 2000’s is when she was given a more sultry look. Her shorts got shorter, and so did her tank top.

In 2013 her iconic look changed once again, and many agree it was the right move. Her signature clothes were scrapped in favor of a younger, more appropriately dressed Croft before she became the tomb raider legend that she is. It’s refreshing to see the approach they took in creating her for the reboot in 2013. It’s reassuring that a female protagonist doesn’t need to be a big boob having piece of eye candy to be memorable.

A new infographic has been released that details the many changes Lara went through en route to her latest appearance. Head on down below to check out the super awesome infographic to see just how much Lara Croft has evolved over the year. What’s your favorite style?
