In the latest episode of Star Wars Time we heavily discussed the mysterious Solo movie, which still doesn’t have a trailer or poster, even though it’s only five months from release. Like many Star Wars fans, we’re a bit concerned over the lack of details provided for the film, and while nothing visually has been released outside of Ron Howard’s set pics, we do finally have something official from Disney and Lucasfilm.
Now don’t hold your breath because it’s nothing major. It’s just an official plot synopsis that paints a broad picture of what will happen in the film. The synopsis is as follows:
“Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”
Like I said, there isn’t much to go on, but based on the synopsis, it does look like I’ll get some of my picks for top moments to see in Solo, which I wrote about last week. Hopefully this means that Disney is getting the Solo hype machine greased up, so stay tuned for more details as they become available.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018.
