James Franco and Lenny Kravitz Team Up in New Guitar Hero Live Spot

The video game industry still feels that gamers need to have celebrities promote new games to get them interested in a title, so Activision has enlisted the help of James Franco and Lenny Kravitz to sell Guitar Hero Live.

In a new “Win the Crowd” trailer the two stars try to show each other how to be better digital rockers. If anything, it’s a bit awkward, but there is a funny reference to Lenny’s infamous pant rip from over the summer, so it’s not a complete waste of time. You can check it out above.

Guitar Hero Live is set to hit retail on October 20, 2015 for the 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U, and iOS devices.
