JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven’s Trailer is a Trip

I don’t watch a lot of anime. I never have, and I doubt I ever will.

That being said, I get down with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The idea that a manga/anime series that is literally about absurdly large dudes rambling on about being gentlemen while fighting ancient beings, using otherwordly Persona-skills, and hunting down one pissed off vampire exists just makes sense to me.

If you’re not a JoJo fan, the new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven trailer might seem like the strangest thing humanity has ever created. Though it’s billed as a “story” trailer, anyone without intimate knowledge of the long-running series will probably be confused as shit about what’s going on in the upcoming PlayStation 4 game.

Actually, I’m pretty confused by the trailer, and I already spent a few dozen words telling you all that I like JoJo.

Anyway, the Eyes of Heaven trailer does a decent enough job showing off the characters and over-the-top style associated with the series. It’s bright, chaotic, and weirdly charming. If you can make it through the entire trailer without having an acid flashback, you might just be the kind of person who should check JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven out when it releases on June 28.
