Land Ho! Expedition: Conquistador Lands on Steam May 30th
Set sail for the New World in Expedition: Conquistador. Set in the 16th century, Expedition puts players in the boots of a conquistador on a journey to explore, or conquer lands previously uncharted by Europeans.
Expedition: Conquistador, available May 30th, is a tactical role-playing game with a historical twist. As a conquistador, players will be able to explore a huge map of the Americas on a quest for adventure, fame, and gold.
The New World is a mysterious and dangerous place, and adventurers will need to be prepared. With dozens of legendary locations to discover, including the mythical El Dorado, exploring will be no easy task. Your conquistador will be faced with countless tough decisions, but be careful because any choice you make may just alter the very course of history.
You won’t be exploring the Americas alone, though. With 30 different customizable characters to recruit to your forces, utilizing their help will be the key to victory. Training these troops, as well as increasing your own conquistador’s stats, will allow your influence to grow across all 70 battlefields. Military might isn’t always the best option in your journey, however, and sometimes a little diplomatic tact can go a long way.
Expedition also features a robust multiplayer experience, which will allow players to either team up on a journey of conquest, or battle as opposing sides; conquistadors versus the indigenous peoples.
Expedition: Conquistador will be available for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam, GOG, Desura and other electronic distributors. The game is shaping up to be an interesting take on 16th century exploration with great role-playing elements mixed in. Be sure to stay tuned for more news as the release date draws near.
