Latest WildStar Screenshots Feature the 40v40 Warplot Mode

Carbine Stuidos and NCSoft have released the latest WildStar Flicks video, and it details the newly announced Warplot mode, which is a massive 40v40 PvP game mode.

Warplots will be open to Elder Game players (level 50), and feature a unique brand of multiplayer competition packed full of strategic team-based gameplay. Armies will be able to deck out their Warplots with the following items to help defend it from the other team trying to take it down: plasma cannons, mines, incinerators, rocket launchers, bunkers, tele porters, defense grids, attack ships, robot factories, nuclear power plants, orbital strike capabilities, and even baddies you conquer in the game’s dungeons.

We got to see this mode in action at Pax East, and it’s definitely impressive to see a 40v40 match play out without so much as a technical hiccup. If you love team-based multiplayer that requires teamwork and deep strategies to win, then you’ll definitely be a fan of the Warplot game mode. Best of all, you can score Warplot PvP loot, plugs, and currency to further buff up your character. There’s a couple of new screenshots of WildStar’s Warplot mode after the break, and don’t forget to check out the announce trailer above.

WildStar is now available for pre-order, and is set to hit retail on June 3, 2014.
