Last week during the “Everything is Awesome” performance at the Oscars a few celebrities received their very own LEGO Oscar statues that looked, well, AWESOME! YouTuber MonsieurCaron thought they were rad enough to film a stop motion video to show LEGO fans how to build their very own LEGO Oscar statue, which you can now watch above.

He mentions in the video’s description that you can use his directions to build your own statue, but you must pause to do so as the video moves quite rapidly through the build process. Your best bet is to pause it at the start of the build process and then use the arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll through the video frame by frame to nail the creation process. If you have a bunch of yellow and black LEGO bricks laying around you should definitely try to make a LEGO Oscar, because they truly are awesome.

Those that want to take things further can try to replicate the Batman Oscar that MonsieurCaron made, which would definitely make for a great talking piece amongst fellow LEGO lovers and Batman fans.
