Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Screens and Features Detailed

Say hello to Wind Waker HD

One of the Gamecube’s crown jewels, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker has received a HD makeover and will be hitting the WiiU this October. Featuring beautiful 1080p visuals, Wind Waker’s signature ‘toon-shading’ has never looked better.

Additional features have been added to the Wind Waker re-release, including a new sail for Link’s ship, allowing for much quicker speeds as Link traverses the seas. Wind Waker HD will also include a unique new item called the ‘Tingle Bottle’ which allows players to share comments through the Miiverse. Comments and screenshots included in the Tingle Bottle will wash up in various locations of other players’ games, connecting users across the world as they share in Link’s adventure. In keeping with the theme of sharing pictures, players will also be able to take more (and better quality) pictures to be posted on the Miiverse thanks to an improved Pictograph.

Wind Waker HD will make great use of the WiiU GamePad controller, allowing for easier inventory management and map access, as well as the ability to play Wind Waker off-TV if the television is already in use.

With the improved features and breathtaking graphical improvements, players should be more excited than ever to experience one Link’s greatest adventures.
