DICE and EA have revealed three new Hero/Villain class characters for Star Wars Battlefront and detailed their specialties today. The three new characters are Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Emperor Palpatine.
Leia is a support type character and will provide buffs to rebel troops that spawn near her, turning them into Alderaan Honor Guards. Leia also has a wicked shot, so her Trooper Bane ability can take out bucket heads in one shot, or stun other Hero-class characters. She also has a Enhanced Squad Shield ability, and can call down supply drops for other Hero-class characters.
Han is more of an offensive style hero thanks to his two blaster attacks–Rapid Fire and Lucky Shot. Rapid Fire increases his blaster attacks, while the Lucky Shot ability gives Han the ability to do severe damage to vehicles, troops, and other Heroes. Han also has a Shoulder Charge attack so he can get up close and personal with his targets.
Palpatine will obviously have his lighting powers as his primary attack. He will also have a Force Dash move, and the ability to call in supply drops like Leia.
Star Wars Battlefront is releasing on November 17, 2015 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
