Above you will find a full Let’s Play of the first act from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which is the fully remastered version of the first Gears game from The Let’s Play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – Act I.

First and foremost, you will hear some audio syncing issues and a bit of voice over echoing, but I can assure you that these issues come from the El Gato game DVR software, and not Gears. The audio syncing is NOT a glitch!

With that being said you can still easily take in the game’s visual improvements, which are most impressive to say the least. Everything from the environment textures to the character builds have been remade in glorious 1080p HD visuals and it shows. The only bummer is the fact that you can’t auto-switch between the old version and the new version in a similar fashion to what 343 did with the remastered versions of Halo and Halo 2.

Stay tuned for a possible Let’s Play of Act II and Act III (not sure if I’ll go past that), and don’t forget that the game will officially release on August 25, 2015.
