Life is Rough for Abandoned Kickstarter Video Game Characters

The Dorkly YouTube channel pokes fun at Kickstarter and all of its upstart amateur game developers trying to get funding for their dream projects in its latest pixelated video game parody short.

The video takes aim at Kickstarter gaming projects that get abandoned even after the developer received the stated goal amount of funding, but still leaves the game that people backed in an unfinished state. The parody makes fun of stretch goal promises, the fact that almost all Kickstarter games use pixel art, as well as the game breaking bugs that plague unfinished titles. All I can say is R.I.P. Pixel Pete.
