The Life is Strange series has been around for years now, even though it’s barely halfway through the second season now. People seem to thoroughly enjoy them for the most part, I played the first episode of the first season myself. I didn’t think it was nearly as good as something like the first episode of Telltale’s Walking Dead, which is clearly where the series draws inspiration from.

The unique mechanics that certain characters control, like being able to rewind time, is what sets the game apart. There’s something to be said about being able to experience all of the different dialogue paths in the game before moving on to the next section. It takes a little bit of tension away, for sure, but I think these games are meant to not quite be as harsh as The Walking Dead.
