The bleakly stylish action-platformer LIMBO is schedules to head to Apple’s App store next week, allowing the game’s development team, Playdead, to bring LIMBO to a larger audience than the team ever initially imagined.

Set for release on July 3rd, LIMBO will become available on the iPad, iPhone and the most recent iPod touch for only $4.99.

LIMBO has earned serious praise from the gaming public and press alike, receiving compliments for its unique atmosphere and challenging puzzles. With over 3 million copies of LIMBO sold across the Playstation 3, Vita, and Xbox 360, there’s little doubting that Playdead and LIMBO have earned all of their recent accolades.

Those looking for a game with a unique aesthetic and entertaining puzzles need to look no further.
