Actor C. Thomas Howell may have been a little too revealing in a recent interview about his role in next Summer’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’. The actor who has a small role as a construction worker whose Son needs saving by Spidey, spilled the beans about Lizard being the main villain in this version of Spider-Man on the big screen. He said, “Sony wants us to be hush-hush right now. I play a relatively small role. I play a construction worker whose son is caught in the middle of a battle between the Lizard and Spider-Man on the Manhattan Bridge. Spider-Man helps me get my son back from this perilous situation.” Oops, guess Howell doesn’t really know the meaning of “hush-hush”.
Once again, I’m not all too familiar with Lizard, so I welcome any further details in the comment section below. I’m just glad that comic book movies keep getting made, and really don’t care who’s in which one. My only complaint is that they’re not R-rated. I want to see these comic book stars f*ck people up with real blood involved. If I see another movie featuring Wolverine that has less blood in it than an old lady’s tampon I’m calling foul! Enough already with being kid friendly. Anyway, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ opens on July 3rd, 2012, and we now know it’ll involve the very uncreatively named Lizard. So what do you think? You’ve been grossed out by the old lady line…
