For the first time I’m finally giving the Lord of the Rings: War in the North game a look see.  I’ve heard about it before, but have honestly never given it the time of day, because lets be honest, some of the more recent Tolkien licensed games have sucked Uruk Hai gonads.  Although, after watching a co-op trailer for the game I now have put it on my official games to play list.  I don’t know how I’ll ever get to playing it with all of the triple-A titles coming out in the next two months, but the fact that this game is set in one of my favorite fantasy based worlds should help its chances of getting played.  Not to mention that the gameplay looks pretty, it has 3 player co-op, and there’s some looting like RPG elements to it.  If you mix those ingredients with the fact that the game is based on one of the most popular works of fiction in the last 500 years, the resulting product could be phenomenal.  Check it out below to see what I’m talking about.  You’ve been hoping this isn’t another Middle Earth turd ball…
