Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime should be on everyone’s indie game watch-list, because it’s the couch-co-op game that we’ve been waiting for.

A game where you actually have to really work together or die a violent death in the vacuum of space? Sounds like they deserve my money for sure, and after watching people play it at PAX East this year, I’m totally sold on it, and I can’t wait to pick it up! Two players control a massive ship flying through space, with different kinds of weapons and shields all over it, and you can only control one thing at a time. So if one person is shooting, and one person is on the shield, the ship can’t go anywhere because no one is piloting it anymore. It requires a lot of communication between the two players, and may possibly cause many screaming fits and broken controllers as the game gets harder, but it looks like way too much fun to pass up.

Check out the release trailer above, and see for yourself how awesome this game is going to be when it comes out for PC and Xbox One on September 9th!
