The Apple Watch is already sold out, which quite frankly blew me away, because I didn’t think the masses would buy into it wholeheartedly. Either way, the latest Apple gadget is already a financial success, and considering how expensive they are, new buyers should think about protecting the device from the daily wear and tear they’ll experience.
Lunatik has a solution planned for the Apple Watch to protect it without making it too bulky. Its Epik watch systems is designed to encase the 42mm version of the Apple Watch in a protective covering complete with its own band. The problem with this protective case for the Apple Watch is that it still needs to be funded through a Kickstarter campaign, which isn’t even LIVE yet! Those interested can sign up to be notified of the campaign’s launch, but at this time pricing and a release date haven’t been detailed, and both of those depend on the Kickstarter taking place and being successful.
Personally, I like the concept and can see its merits, but I think it is a little curious that the Epik watch system hasn’t even been Kickstarted yet, even though Lunatik now features it on its website. I’ll keep an eye out for this one my friends, so stay tuned for future updates. You can check out a few images of the Apple Watch case below.
