Mafia 3 launched today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game takes place in New Bordeaux, which is aesthetically built the same as New Orleans.

You play as Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam veteran who has no family and no sense of direction, so he joins the black mob. When his new family in the mob is slaughtered by the Italian mafia, Clay goes on a rampage to get his revenge. Sounds interesting.

As someone who liked Mafia 2, I want to check this game out–just not on PC. PC users are, at the time of this writing, having major issues with freezes and crashes, as well as a 30 fps frame lock. 2K Games said they are working on a fix, so you should wait for now if you want to play the game on PC.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users have not reported any major issues at this time. If you plan on playing Mafia 3 on either console, you should be good to go!
