Major Nelson Basically Confirms the Existence of the Next Xbox Console

Larry Hyrb, aka Xbox’s Major Nelson, posted a countdown clock on his personal blog today that is ticking towards the kick-off of E3 2013.  Outside of the clock the post is titled, “And it’s on…”, so if I were a betting man I’d say that this is the first official sign that Microsoft will indeed be launching a new Xbox console sometime in 2013.

Will it be named the Xbox 720?  At this time no one knows, but thanks to Major Nelson we now know that the gaming world will more than likely get their first glimpse of the new Xbox in June.  I can only hope that I get invited to E3 again this year, because an unveil like this can’t be missed by the Entertainment Buddha.  So what do you think?  Does this new countdown clock equal new gaming hardware, or is it just a ruse?  Let us know using the comment section down below.  You’ve been thinking 2013 is going to be an expensive year in gaming…
