Nintendo dropped all sorts of news today in regards to their future plans for the Wii U and its lineup of new games. Long time Nintendo fans should be happy to know that a new Zelda is in the works, as well as a new: Mario Kart, 3D Mario game, Yoshi’s Yarn, and a few more 3rd-party titles. The Japanese game icon also announced plans to release HD remakes of some of the more popular Wii games, and Zelda’s Wind Waker is at the top of their list.
Finally, Nintendo also announced that the Virtual Console will be coming back to the Wii U, and any previously downloaded games can be re-download for $1-$1.50 depending on which system they were originally for (NES/SNES). They’ll also be offering NES classics for .30 cents starting with Balloon Fight, and this sale will continue with a new game each month up until July.
