I’m not going to go into a tree hugging rant here, but this footage captured by some NASA satellites is awesomely disturbing. I get that we need oil, but what I don’t get are all of the righties saying that this oil spill is no big deal, and that the ocean will take care of itself. Really? See Rush Limbaugh’s point of view:
“The ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and left out there,” Limbaugh said. “It’s natural. It’s as natural as the ocean water is.”
Yeah that picture of the aftermath above is REAL natural looking. Anyway, the time lapsed footage shows how the oil slick has evolved over a months time. Take a look how it has moved towards the Mississippi River Delta. I’m glad I don’t like seafood. If I were you I wouldn’t vacation on the Gulf side of Florida. Bring on the environmentalist bashing! You’ve witnessed another man-made wonder, the Black Gulf of Mexico…
The music is a little over-the-top, but still a disturbing thing to see.
