Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’ Confirmed for 2015 Premiere

After Netflix’s success with Daredevil, there was uncertainty as to when their next superhero show would be released. At today’s Television Critics Association press tour, Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos confirmed that Jessica Jones will premiere by the end of this year.

Sarandos went on to explain that Netflix plans to release a new superhero show every six months, which will then culminate in a crossover called The Defenders. The other two due up are Luke Cage and Iron Fist, which should be available next year based on the timetable. In the midst of new characters, Daredevil has its second season, expected to release early 2016.
