Bioware sat down with G4 to discuss some of the features of the multiplayer piece that has been integrated into Mass Effect 3.  Essentially, by playing multiplayer matches you can increase your Galactic Readiness rating, which in turn will play into how well a certain system is prepared for the end game against the Reapers.  You can also prestige the different factions in multiplayer, which will also translate into the single player experience in some capacity.

Regardless, Bioware also reminds us in this short interview that Mass Effect 3 is set up in a way that you can play it however you wish, so you can choose to ignore the multiplayer altogether if you want, but you’d be an ignorant a*s to do so.  Check out the full report below.  You’ve been planning your week around this game’s launch…
