MCU Dump: Avengers: Infinity War Portraits, Potential Trailer Date, 20 More Films Planned
Vanity Fair teased its Marvel Cinematic Universe issue today, so that means all sorts of new information about the universe and its upcoming films has been revealed.
First up, Vanity Fair shared four Infinity War themed covers for its next issue, which you can check out below.
In addition to the over photos, the magazine also offered up a bunch of character portraits to show off what they’ll look like in Avengers: Infinity War. The shots are mostly of existing characters, but there are a few lesser known characters in there as well, such as Hawkeye’s wife. You can check out the portraits below.
Finally, in the Vanity Fair piece, Kevin Feige revealed how many more MCU films are planned after Avengers: Infinity War, which is going to be the final film in the current run of the MCU. Then Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will kick off the new era of MCU films, which have been described as being different than what we’ve seen since 2006.
Feige explained to Vanity Fair that at, “22 movies in, and we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before, intentionally.” Who knows what that may entail, because it’s not like the MCU films have been bad or even less than good, but their formulas have been somewhat similar, so I guess a bit of change can’t be a bad thing.
You can read more about the MCU by heading over to Vanity Fair to check out the full piece.
In regards to the Avengers: Infinity War trailer date, the Russo Brothers, who are directing the film, have posted this on their Facebook page, which more than likely means the trailer is coming in three days, or possibly on December 3rd.
