Mighty No. 9 may be getting delayed, but Mega Man enthusiasts shouldn’t fret too much thanks to the news that 20XX, which has been touted as the spiritual successor to Mega Man X, is getting a Steam beta on September 15, 2015.
The gameplay of 20XX is heavily inspired by Mega Man X, and features 2D hand drawn art assets that make up the game’s procedurally generated levels. It features roguelike mechanics, offers co-op, and over 100 collectible items, weapons, and power-ups.
If you want to see it in action you can check out a few old trailer for it down below. If you like what you see the game is currently on Steam’s Early Access platform for $11.99.
