Konami recently streamed more gameplay footage from the next Metal Gear Solid game. Originally the footage was shown during E3 to members of the press behind closed doors, but now the extensive gameplay footage is available to everyone.

The 30 minute gameplay video, captured during the Kojima Station live stream, displays the new open world mechanics within Phantom Pain. Heavy focus is placed on the ‘Mother Base’, which serves as an upgradable support centre that the player can customize and defend.

A majority of the footage shown centred around the games iconic stealth gameplay, with Big Boss infiltrating a base relatively unseen. This is the first real look at Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain’s gameplay, displaying some impressive lighting effects and dynamic weather effects. Yet the developers at Kojima Productions boast a nice 1080p resolution running at 60fps on PlayStation 4.

So, if you missed the live stream you can still catch all of the gameplay in the video above.
