WBIE has released a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor that gives players a look at the Wraith, who was revealed to be Celebrimbor at SDCC, as well as the game’s multiple path offerings. The trailer features gameplay footage and a Liam Neeson-like sounding narrator who explains Shadow of Mordor’s domination system and how Talion can use it to his advantage in battle. Basically, players must utilize Talion and the Wraith to influence the minds of Mordor’s most vile creatures, or risk doing battle with them, which isn’t a guaranteed victory.

Two pieces of Wraith artwork have been released in addition to the new trailer for Shadow of Mordor, which you can view below. They show off the Wraith, who is actually Celebrimbor, the greatest Elven smith of the Second Age. If you’re up on your Tolkien universe, then you are probably well aware of Celebrimbor’s role in the events that shaped Middle-earth for thousands of years. Make sure to check out the new gameplay trailer for Shadow of Mordor above, and the Celebrimbor artwork below.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is now set to launch on September 30, 2014 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
