Middle-Earth’s Air New Zealand Offers Hobbit Inspired Flight Safety Video

Peter Jackson turned his country of New Zealand into Middle-Earth on Earth when he created the Lord of the Rings trilogy back in the early part of the 21st century, and now the island’s airline, Air New Zealand, has embraced its role in the new Hobbit trilogy.  Air NZ is currently running a Hobbit infused flight safety video that puts all flight safety videos to shame.  They even got Jackson himself to cameo in it, as well as some VFX and prop help from Weta, the special effects house that helped to bring Jackson’s vision of Middle-Earth to life.

I highly suggest checking it out, because it’s awesome, and you can win a trip of a lifetime if you spot the correct number of Elven symbols in the video and enter your answer here.  You’ve been wishing you were taking your next flight on Air New Zealand…
