Not to be outdone by DICE, Infinity Ward has released a brand new multiplayer reveal trailer for Modern Warfare 3.  Don’t get me wrong, I completely respect the Call of Duty franchise, especially the titles created by IW, but you can’t tell me that this game visually looks as crisp as Battlefield 3.  I’m realistic and know that Modern Warfare 3 will probably sell more units than a 3rd world country’s GDP, but I must say that the CoD luster is starting to wear off for me.  Games that get yearly releases like Call of Duty definitely wear on me after a few years.  In fact, I really haven’t been all CoD fanboyed up since Call of Duty 4, but I’ve realized their impact on the gaming culture, so I continue to buy them and play them anyway.  Maybe my sudden suckiness at CoD multi is what drove me away from the series, but I’m just not that excited about MW3 as I have been in the past for other CoD games.

Regardless of my obviously minority based opinion I know throngs of gamers will make MW3 just as successful as Black Ops if not more.  For that reason I’ll cover the game, which is evident in the posting of this multiplayer reveal trailer.  I don’t know about you, but the MW3 multiplayer trailer doesn’t hold a candle to the one released for B3 today.  It just looks old compared to the graphical powerhouse that is DICE’s latest creation.  Now visuals aren’t everything, and we all know that CoD games have pretty solid gameplay attached to them, so MW3 won’t suck by any means, but I also don’t think it has raised the bar for the franchise in the same way B3 is doing for Battlefield.  You be the judge and check out the latest multiplayer for Modern Warfare 3 below.  You’ve been just about burned out on this series…
