Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise is a strange beast. Unfathomably popular in the East, Monster Hunter has never quite caught on in North America to the extent it has in Japan. However, interest in the series has been steadily rising throughout the years, and the upcoming Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate looks to be the very title that could bring the series to the prominence it so deserves.

Set to release on February 13, 2015, alongside the New Nintendo 3DS XL, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the biggest game to hit handhelds in a long while. The game’s official trailer (seen above), showcases some awesome gameplay footage, proving that the monsters never stop coming in Mon Hun 4, and trust us, that’s a good thing.

In addition to the awesome new trailer, Capcom and Nintendo have confirmed that there will be a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate 3DS XL edition releasing in February as well. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
