More Mass Effect 3 Leviathan DLC Details and Screenshots Surface

EA provided some more details on the upcoming campaign based Leviathan DLC for Mass Effect 3 at their recent summer showcase event.  Some new screens for this content pack were shown off, and from the looks of them it looks like gamers will be going underwater for the first time in a Mass Effect game.  It has been long rumored that this Leviathan DLC would deal with a Reaper by the same name, and that has also been confirmed at EA’s event.

Gamers will learn much more about the origins of the Reapers, see some new sections of the Citadel, and much more once the Leviathan DLC goes live later this year.  You can head on down past the break to check out the new screenshots of this content, and to read over some official Bioware statements on the matter.  You’ve been wishing Mass Effect 3 didn’t get shat on so bad by troll nation…

According to the Bioware Blog…

Taking place during the events of Mass Effect 3, players will be thrust into the darkest corners of space where they will hunt a mysterious being rumored to be powerful enough to destroy a Reaper. As they race against time, they will begin to unravel the secret of the Leviathan. Explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel, interact with brand new characters, unlock the AT-12 Raider shotgun and M-55 Argus Assault Rifle and discover more about the mysterious history of the Reapers. Available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Cost is $10 or 800 Microsoft points.
